The death penalty has been a severe punishment for crime for ages and is still in effect today. Recently, in Ohio, Governor John Kasich postponed yet another execution. According to an anonymous editorial writer, this is simple proof that the death penalty is not manageable and therefore should not be used. It was postponed after it was proven that the death-row portocols were not followed. The state had allowed an unauthorized person to enter the execution room, had a doctor botch an injection, and other critical errors. The sentence was put off another month but the author questions whether or not strict measures will ever be enough. The author instead suggests that "every state with the penalty on the books to outlaw this barbaric punishment".
